As a child, Robin enjoyed art of many forms, but drawing in pencil has always been her favorite, especially drawing pet pictures in pencil. She drifted away from this work for a successful career in restaurant management which required numerous relocations throughout the southeast.

She eventually settled in Alabama in 1989, making Huntsville her home. She retired in 2002 and gradually started drawing again.

Robin's family is her pet family: the cats - Sherman, Joey, Sam, Simon, and Sally, and the dog - Godiva.
